The working principle of an industrial steam boiler is based on the conversion of water into steam using heat energy. In theory, fuel (such as coal, gas, or oil) or electricity is used to heat water inside the boiler’s pressure vessel. The heat transfers through the boiler’s tubes or heating surfaces, raising the temperature of the water until it boils and generates steam. As the water absorbs heat, its molecules move faster, increasing pressure inside the boiler. The generated steam is collected in a steam drum or chamber and can be directed through pipes to drive turbines, engines, or other industrial equipment.
